UK & Ireland Delivery

We currently use UK Mail, the UK's largest independent express delivery company. UK Mail offer a flexible, affordable next day delivery service with a range of options to suit your requirements. UK Mail collect and deliver into their dedicated, secure network for onward distribution to one of our 55 sites across the UK.

By default, we use the next day service which delivers between 0800-1800, Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays. Other options are available such as pre-10am, AM or PM options and Saturday deliveries at additional cost. Contact us for further details.

International Delivery

For smaller parcels up to 50kg, we use UPS, or United Parcel Service Inc., as a global company with one of the most recognised and admired brands in the world. As the largest express carrier and package delivery company in the world, we are also a leading provider of specialised transportation, logistics, capital, and e-commerce services. Every day we manage the flow of goods, funds and information in more than 200 countries and territories worldwide.  

Over the last 10 years we have found them to be very reliable and responsive, even in the most remote areas of the world.

For larger orders above 50kg we use pallet services, depending on destination. Contact us for details.

We can also use your own delivery account on request for orders over £500 GBP. 

Returns

As solely a B2B provider, sales on this website are not governed under the Distance Selling Regulations. and the individual manufacturer's warranty process will apply. 

In the first 30 days, we operate a local returns policy. BiometricDirect replace 'dead on arrival' units from stock on return of the original item with a free next day delivery service. You must request an RMA Number before returning any goods our warehouse. 

After 30 days. we operate the manufacturers warranty process which varies by manufacturer. In general, most manufacturers operate a Return To Base Warranty, and this process takes 4-6 weeks. Return carriage is chargeable for the returned goods. You must request an RMA Number before returning any goods our warehouse. 

Requesting an RMA Number is straight forward.

  1. Simply log a Support Ticket - click here.
  2. Our technical support team will carry out some basic checks to ensure the return is likely to be covered by warranty. 'Dead On Arrival' units are automatically replaced with units from stock, provided there is no damage to the unit.
  3. If the issue is likely to covered by warranty, we will issue an RMA number. This enables our technical team to preform further tests onsite.
  4. If we are satisfied that the issue is covered by warranty, then we will formally request authorisation from the manufacturer for replacement under warranty. This varies greatly from manufacturer to manufacturer, and can take 1-6 weeks.
